merry christmas

Twas the night before christmas and I think I have everything ready (I hope) but I would like to wish everyone a very merry christmas and a happy new year. I am looking forward to 2010 and hope it's a good year. :)

Well Christmas is almost upon us and then it will be new year I hope everyone is well and not going nuts! You might remember an earlier photo post of a hairband I did for my mum for Melbourne cup well I have done her a Christmas one now.

Bags in stock!

Here is what I have in stock of bags (the size under the picture is the bag size not including the handles) these can be sent right away and I will be doing loads more next year after all the craziness has finished. They are $25 (+postage). To see the photo larger just click on the image :)

Well here are the photos of Richmond markets I did with my friend Marika from http://www.smerfdesigns.blogspot.com/ . Had a great time it was like a day off, both kids were looked after by Nanny (thank you very much Mum) and came up at lunch to say Hi. So it was really nice to sit and chat all day. People liked my stuff and sold more bags so will have to get sewing soon also when I can sit down for a few hours one night I will be setting up my etsy store but we will see when that happens as my 1 year is teething and takes hours to get off to sleep!!!

Just picked up Santa photos of my daughter, the youngest didn't want any part of it so it's just the one in the photo maybe next year. I am so happy with the photo I had to share it with you. This is also the best Santa around. Will post some photos of Richmond market soon it went really well I am so glad people like my stuff!

Leura markets

Well it's all over now the market was great. nice weather, sold a few things and got a really good response to my work. Next Saturday I will be at Richmond (nsw) markets, it should be good it's a large market and the last one before Christmas. Anyway here are some pictures from the stall, I shared it with my friend Marika.

New bags

Here are some of the finished bags they are made from recycled jeans and have a removable brooch. The handles are wooden and they are also lined. Hope you like them :)

I have been working hard (sort of) getting stock together for my first markets next month. Have just finished printing some singlet & undie sets, they come in three different designs but only in size 2-3. I have almost finished the t-shirts and have also started work on some handbags so stay tuned for some piccies of them. I really hope the market goes well I am having my stall with a friend who makes baby blankets and toys so it should be fun.

Well I had fun last week making a head band for my mum for Melbourne cup day. She wanted way out but it turned into something way cool and had alot of fun making it I have had the curly things for about a year and didn't know what to do with them I think they look interesting teamed with the feathers. The second picture is of a t-shirt I did for my little girls friend for his birthday it was a train themed party.

I have booked my first market for next month I am doing the Leura markets on 6th Dec and hopefully the richmond markets the following saturday I still have to hear back. Anyway must get back to working bye bye :)

Two of the latest t-shirts before they went to a lucky little girl. The shirts now have swarovski crystals on them I think it adds a nice little twinkle. I am having fun doing them and the ones that have sold the people seem to really like them.

I just wish I could get more followers I have lost 2 and only have 2 now it's very lonely. Why would you stop following a blog I don't understand, come back people!!

Hi all

I have been doing some work on the t-shirts lately so should have something to show soon. Have fixed up designs a bit by outlining them in black pen so it stands out more and the added crystals are soooooo cute they sparkle so much I love it. Must go I have a yummy hot cup of tea waiting for me.

Movie- Julie&Julia

Went and saw Julie & Julia the other night and just had to tell everyone what a fantastic movie. You laugh and cry and it's makes you feel hopeful about everything. Wonderful acting and intriguing story combine to give the watcher a truly uplifting movie experience I would recommend everyone go and see it especially anyone who loves to cook (or eat).

Hello I am still alive I am really bad at keeping this blog up to date. Have been doing a few things , I have brought the t-shirts to start printing and have been making felt rosettes for hairbands but still I have been slacking off a bit watching too much tv get distracted so easily. Soon I will have a whole lot of t-shirts to sell, going to set up an etsy store at some point, maybe at local markets not sure yet. I never think it's good enough for people to buy I am always asking my family is this good is it cute do you like it they must get sick of the 50 questions each time I make something. But I promise I will show the piccies soon of what I doing!!
