White sauce in 3minutes

I just had to blog about the best recipe a mother could have. It's a white sauce done in the microwave and is super quick.

Place in a large microwave safe jug
1 tablespoon - soft butter
30seconds on high to melt

In a measuring cup place
1 tablespoon - corn flour
add a little milk and blend the 2 together then add enough milk to make 1 cup

Add milk to butter and whisk to combine then back in microwave for 2 1/2 minutes whisking twice over that time frame and at the end.

Once the sauce is done you can add anything to it eg. cheese,Dijon mustard etc...
I pop on some macaroni first then do the sauce add a heap of cheese to it and you have a great and very fast macaroni cheese for the kids.

Here are the kids t-shirts they range from size 00-2 these are all the designs at the moment they are hand printed and also have swarvoski crystals on them but the camera couldn't pick it up. They are $18 (+p/h).

New Year

Hi everyone and Happy New Year. I must say what a hot start to the year, and on one side of the country it's burning and the other it's flooding!?!? There is one sad start to the year and that is the road toll, please anyone driving these holidays take care and don't speed. Now back to crafting and maybe the fact that I haven't done any but I will, just got to get moving. I have made a great necklace out of buttons for each of the girls, the littlest one likes it the best. And I nearly forgot the fairy wands we made the other day it was a joint effort Sage painted and glittered and I glued the butterflies on. I will get round to starting the etsy store soon and blogging some new craft when it's done, so many ideas not enough time.

Twas the night before christmas and I think I have everything ready (I hope) but I would like to wish everyone a very merry christmas and a happy new year. I am looking forward to 2010 and hope it's a good year. :)

Well Christmas is almost upon us and then it will be new year I hope everyone is well and not going nuts! You might remember an earlier photo post of a hairband I did for my mum for Melbourne cup well I have done her a Christmas one now.

Bags in stock!

Here is what I have in stock of bags (the size under the picture is the bag size not including the handles) these can be sent right away and I will be doing loads more next year after all the craziness has finished. They are $25 (+postage). To see the photo larger just click on the image :)

Well here are the photos of Richmond markets I did with my friend Marika from http://www.smerfdesigns.blogspot.com/ . Had a great time it was like a day off, both kids were looked after by Nanny (thank you very much Mum) and came up at lunch to say Hi. So it was really nice to sit and chat all day. People liked my stuff and sold more bags so will have to get sewing soon also when I can sit down for a few hours one night I will be setting up my etsy store but we will see when that happens as my 1 year is teething and takes hours to get off to sleep!!!

Just picked up Santa photos of my daughter, the youngest didn't want any part of it so it's just the one in the photo maybe next year. I am so happy with the photo I had to share it with you. This is also the best Santa around. Will post some photos of Richmond market soon it went really well I am so glad people like my stuff!

Leura markets

Well it's all over now the market was great. nice weather, sold a few things and got a really good response to my work. Next Saturday I will be at Richmond (nsw) markets, it should be good it's a large market and the last one before Christmas. Anyway here are some pictures from the stall, I shared it with my friend Marika.

New bags

Here are some of the finished bags they are made from recycled jeans and have a removable brooch. The handles are wooden and they are also lined. Hope you like them :)

I have been working hard (sort of) getting stock together for my first markets next month. Have just finished printing some singlet & undie sets, they come in three different designs but only in size 2-3. I have almost finished the t-shirts and have also started work on some handbags so stay tuned for some piccies of them. I really hope the market goes well I am having my stall with a friend who makes baby blankets and toys so it should be fun.
