New pencil rolls

Here are two new pencil rolls they were a special order and I love both of them I think they turned out great. Hopefully I will have some ready for the markets next month.

New sites

I am SO excited just found the australian website for the buttons I use so hopefully they will sell wholesale to me and also found a great site that sells the kits for making fabric covered buttons and all the accessories yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to craft till the cows come home.

new things and markets

This is my first attempt at a pencil roll they were for two birthdays over the weekend. They are made from up cycled cat in the hat material and a heavy duty cream colour material, the sharpener in glued to the roll (with silicone) so it can't get lost

Wow what a great day I had at Glenbrook yesterday. It felt like it went really fast but then the pack up went REALLY slow. But besides that it was lovely and sunny in the end and sold a variety of things I have even had to take 4 things off made it because they sold. The new jumpers and pants were received well and even sold a few, my mind is already thinking of new things to make but I must set myself a schedule this time and organise the rest of my life I seem to be permanently running late for everything.

New pants

This is a little sneak peak at the hippy pants. They are made from soft snuggly polar fleece with a felt and button detail. I have made 3 sizes 3,4 and5 and three colours pink, purple and red. I will show you the new jumpers soon I have an awful headache tonight so a nice cup of tea and hot bath and an early night I think.

And here is one of my creative spaces our dinning table, the other is a corner of my bedroom where the sewing machine etc are. But this proof I have started on more hot buddies they are ready to sew now did all the arms and legs the other night, thanks Mum.

Markets and life!

Well I have been busy the last few weeks getting ready for the next Glenbrook market (15/5/2010) and will take some photos soon so you can see the new jumpers and pants, not quite finished yet and I am doing some more hot buddies too they are all cut out and waiting to be put together. If you do come up to the markets you will see my wonderful Mum there between 9and 12 as I have to come back down the mountain to take my oldest daughter to a birthday party, it was going to happen one day that I would have something on a market day but the funny thing is she also has one on the sunday too she's a busy girl. Well I better go and do SOME house work I would rather sew but such is life!

I've made it!

I have finally done it I have set up my online store. I am now listed with made it. It took a while as they were having problems with emails but it took two nights and I have a few listings on there so please have a look click on the made it link on the sidebar or here.

Hot Buddie

Introducing Hot Buddie for those cold winter nights. The inside pillow is 100% natural flax seed with lavender essential oil which can be heated in the microwave or put in the freezer for a cold pack. The outside cover is machine washable and completely removable. Total length is 36cm and width is 32cm including the arms and legs. Hopefully I will have a couple made for Glenbrook market on saturday.

Easter fun and hair clips

These are a few of the hair clips I am doing they are faux pearl with felt and doily.

Easter fun!!! Homemade chocolate crackle eggs with mini eggs inside them and extra eggs around them and a wonderful egg hunt this morning plus way too many questions about the easter bunny and how he gets inside and where he gets the eggs from etc....

I would like to wish everyone a very happy Easter and to be safe over the long weekend especially on the roads. Tomorrow I am making chocolate crackle Easter eggs with my daughter so I will post some photos of them when finished, I brought some really tiny speckle eggs to put inside them I hope it works out otherwise I will have to go shopping on Saturday. Hi I'm still here!

Hello everybody I am still alive just been trying to get things sewn and ready for next Glenbrook market next month. I am working on some more bags as stock went down very low also making some beanies as I have no more size large left and people have been asking for an x-large, these are made from snuggle polar fleece plus I am trying to get some polar fleece pants made too. As usual I want to make a million things but in reality I don't have the time like now I should be in bed asleep as it's 12.30 already so it will be 1am by the time I have a shower and get ready, no wonder it takes me an hour and half to wake up in the morning. I really need to organise myself better and have a plan then I would get stuff done, my house looks like a craft store exploded. Off to bed now good night :)

Great day at Glenbrook

Here is my stall at Glenbrook (nsw). This time I was in the centre of the market not on the grass and boy did it make a big difference. Had a great time sold lots, but I have month to get sewing before the next market. The weather was lovely although it was jolly hot by the middle of the day but I can't complain I had a great spot. I am so glad that the day went well it makes me think I am doing the right thing and I have some talent. I love designing and making things so thank you to everyone who came and bought something or showed an interest in my work.

Over the course of the next month I will be working on some new bags, hair clips, printed jumpers, and maybe some cute little bunting if there is time.

Glenbrook markets Saturday 20th March

Getting ready for the Glenbrook markets and still finishing off 4 bags as I sold 8 in the last week and didn't have many left for markets, always looks better with more so must go and finish dishes and sew sew sew at least the car is already packed!!
